okay Connecticut, you impressed me! Came here for lunch while visiting a friend who lives in the area and was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was everything absolutely fab but the menu was unique and the service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend

Just adding a few more photos from a recent visit. Still one of my favorite restaurants in Greenwich and still highly recommend!

Food and service was great. Impressive that it was open on a Sunday afternoon. Totally recomend the sushi!

One of my favorite stops during my recent road trip around New England! My sister wanted to visit Greenwich so after window shopping for a bit we ended up dining at Hinoki for dinner. We were able to snag a table outside, which was lovely. It was a beautiful evening and exceptionally pleasant. For drinks, I went with a sake based on our server's recommendation. It was very tasty and refreshing, so naturally I ordered a second. They do have a handful of plant-based options, which always makes me happy. I ordered the Miso Eggplant ($16) as well as a Veggie Roll... which I don't believe was on the menu but they were able to whip one up. The Miso eggplant was soooooo delicious. Melt-in-your-mouth and uber flavorful. Probably some of the best eggplant I've had, period! It was super hot (a good thing) so be careful not to burn your eager taste buds. The veggie roll was pretty good too, although the eggplant outshined it for sure. My sister got the Vegetable Dumplings ($12) which were cute, but the serving size was VERY small. After her Edamame ($7) order she ended up getting the eggplant as well since she was still hungry. Prices are as expected, and our server was wonderful. Overall I would highly recommend!

Trendy to be at spot. Sushi is always fresh. Nice place to go by the bar for drinks and few apps or to have diner at.

This is a popular spot in town. The restaurant has a modern feel with clean lines. This wasn't my first time but today Anastasia made it very special. She was very professional and extremely friendly it added to our experience. In the future I will request to sit at her table, as she knew the menu and helped us navigate. The food was outstanding. We ordered shumai with pork it was very good, spicy edamame, duck bun was amazing and calamari which was ok just not to my liking. My husband ordered sushi-sashimi deluxe and said it was so fresh the fish melted in his mouth. My son ordered beef udon and loved it. I went for rolls and it didn't disappoint. Dessert was also amazing and so pretty! We will definitely return.

Always love Hinoki although we had a group of 14 adjacent to us with some Loud men, which made it a tad difficult for us not to be in their conversation. Haha. The maitre d even apologized to us. Haha. Love that they were having fun, but the acoustics can be a bit challenging depending on where you are seated. So to be seated near bar or in the front booths parallel to the walkway to the back tables. The food is always delicious. Hard to not go if you're a Japanese/sushi fan and you're in Greenwich.

Good Japanese food in Greenwich with great quality sushi. If you are shopping in the area and need to grab a bite, this is a good choice.

IT'S wow-factor at Hinoki! I'm always craving Hinoki's spectacular, magical and luxurious Ginger Scallion Lobster and Shrimp Stir-Fried Soba, a perfect combination, which taste as amazing as they look! Hinoki's vibrant, artful King Crab Avocado Roll and Miyazaki Roll also were stellar, making you fall deeper in love with each satisfying bite.
